To help this patient achieve a better profile, Dr. Cole made a small incision under the chin and a stab incision around each ear and used liposuction cannulas to remove excess fatty tissue around the entire neck area. He then tightened the neck muscle so that the patient would get the contour he desired. As you can see, the patient’s neck before surgery was full and loose in appearance, and after surgery the neck area is defined and lacks the loose, double chin.
