Brent A. Murphy, MD
Dr. Murphy is one of only a few hundred Oculoplastic surgeons in the world
certified by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery Board. Committed to the advancement of his field, Dr. Murphy
continues to research, publish, and lecture about the latest advancements
in Oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery. He has published papers on
facial rejuvenation, aesthetic eyelid surgery, and new technologies
in cosmetic surgery. Additionally, he has been a guest lecturer
at many national and international medical meetings in the areas
of cosmetic, laser and reconstructive surgery.
In 2001, Dr. Murphy joined Atlanta Oculoplastic & Cosmetic Surgery and in 2002 co-founded OCULUS, a division of Atlanta Oculoplastic & Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. Harvey Chip Cole.
Active in community service, he is most proud of his humanitarian work teaching lacrimal surgery to physicians in Guatemala who treat a majority of residents suffering from tear duct problems.
